Level Four is hiring a CPO in our Boca, FL office. The CPO will be responsible for all compliant patient management, all stages of design, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of prosthetic and/or orthotic devices related to patients’ needs, as indicated by a physician.  Work with the Sales Organization to Promote Community Awareness and Relationships. 

Role and Responsibilities

Assessment and treatment of compliant orthotic and/or prosthetic technical requirements. Technical assessment may include but is not limited to the evaluation and documentation of the following information:

  • physical assessment data
  • range of motion requirements
  • orthotic/prosthetic requirements
  • material selection
  • component application
  • structural analysis
  • device specific function


Formulation of fabrication requirements within the established guidelines of sound patient care & treatment plans. This formulation includes, but is not limited to:

  • verification of compliant documentation
  • consultation with manufacturing professionals as required
  • analysis of structural and design needs for implementation
  • development of device specific functional goals
  • consultation with clinicians and peers


Implementation of the fabrication requirements includes, but is not limited to:

  •  complete physical data fabrication forms
  •  material selection
  •  fabrication
  •  structural evaluation
  •  compliance with component selection and manufacturer safety protocols
  •  assessment for appropriate outcomes


A follow-up treatment plan which ensures successful patient outcomes which includes, but is not limited to:

  •  documentation of structural changes in components
  •  development of long term service plan


Compliance with practice management plans, policies and procedures which includes, but is not limited to:

  •  adherence to applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations
  •  following patient care guidelines and procedures
  •  maintaining a safe and professional environment
  •  application of manufacturer’s guarantees, and conditions of use
  •  performing applicable machine maintenance and calibration
  •  maintaining applicable records of components, part numbers, and serial numbers for all   registered components


Promotion of competency and enhancement of professional practice to contribute to the profession’s body of knowledge includes, but is not limited to participation in:

  •  continuing education
  •  training of residents and support staff
  •  use of evidence based studies
  •  promotion of public awareness of the profession
  •  consumer organizations, referral sources, potential referral sources,  governmental and non-governmental organizations
  • maintains certifications of ABC or BOC, and/or state licensure


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift; must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
  • Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction.
  • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
  • Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility.
  • Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment and supplies for treatment.
  • Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws.


Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or college degree
  • Certification in good standing with ABC or BOC
  • Current state license in states where required
